Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Coach
MBACP
I offer a warm invitation to engage in an initial conversation with me, free of charge. I understand that reaching out for support is an important step, and whether you choose to work with me or another therapist or coach, you are making a valuable commitment to yourself.
During our sessions, we will explore how you engage with your life and work. By embracing experiential learning — learning through doing — you’ll begin to see real and tangible change. I work exclusively with adults.
Gestalt therapy is a relational approach. The trust-based relationship we build together allows you to explore patterns in your relationships — both with yourself and with others.
This exploration creates an opportunity to learn and experience new ways of being. In Gestalt, we view the relationship with self as an ongoing, evolving process. By committing to this work, you are ultimately committing to your own growth and self-discovery.
With over 25 years of experience in the corporate world, including 17 years living in Hong Kong and working across the Asia-Pacific region, I am well-equipped to support you with career and work-related issues.
My experience with senior leaders, combined with my ability to work with emotional depth, offers a perspective that goes beyond traditional executive coaching.
I am also the author of Where Would You Like Your Dishwasher? – My Story of Life, Love, and Loss, and bring specialist expertise in grief and loss.
As an expatriate spouse, I supported my late husband Michael through his eight-year battle with a rare form of heart cancer — an experience that deeply informs my work.
We are all, in a sense, “living our dying” from the moment we are born. The journey in between is one of deep learning. If you choose to walk that path with me, I will be here to support you.
“To know our self is important; to be able to influence how we experience ourselves is everything.”
— Terry Cooper
