Psychotherapist/Counsellor
British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists
I support people through challenging times using a holistic and individualised approach to therapy. Working together, we will find the most effective way to help you, and I will support you throughout the process to create meaningful and lasting change.
With over ten years’ experience in counselling, and a previous career in business, I bring both professional expertise and wider life experience to my practice. My work is grounded in Psychodynamic therapy, which takes a holistic view of the individual and draws on the principles of analytic traditions. I also integrate elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Transactional Analysis (TA), allowing me to tailor our sessions to your unique needs.
I provide a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly and reflect on how you are feeling. Together, we will explore and manage difficult emotions, and gently uncover unconscious patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, low mood, or distress. By making connections between thoughts, feelings, and past experiences, you can begin to understand yourself more fully and find constructive ways forward.
Issues such as low self-confidence and poor self-esteem can impact relationships and overall wellbeing. Therapy offers the opportunity to address these difficulties without judgement or pressure. There is no fixed agenda in our sessions — the space is yours.
I am recognised to work with clients of AXA, Aviva, WPA and Vitality.
I offer both face-to-face sessions at my office locations and online sessions via Zoom. For online appointments, a secure link will be sent to your email 24 hours in advance.
I am a Registered and Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their professional and ethical guidelines. I undertake ongoing professional development and work confidentially with a clinical supervisor to ensure the highest standards of practice.
This therapist operates independently. Therapy services are provided directly by the therapist, who may see clients online, from their own premises, or in hired consulting rooms.
