Psychotherapy, Psychoanalysis
UKCP
My approach is rooted in the psychoanalytic tradition—particularly the work of Jacques Lacan. More than theoretical affiliation, however, what matters to me is creating a space where thoughts, feelings, and difficulties can be spoken about safely and without judgment. I start from the assumption that each person’s experience is unique, and so is the process of working together.
You might be facing anxiety, compulsive behaviours, difficulties with eating, sexuality, or substance use. Sometimes it’s hard to pin down exactly what feels wrong in life, yet there may still be a persistent sense of depression, confusion around identity, or uncertainty about desire. Whatever brings you to therapy, we would take the time to explore it together. Rather than offering quick fixes or standardised interventions, psychoanalytic therapy invites careful reflection—working to uncover the root causes of your struggles in order to support the creation of personal solutions and lasting change.
Alongside my private practice, I have provided therapeutic support in a range of institutional settings, including higher education, mental health services, and specialist clinics. There, I have worked with students and young adults, individuals who’ve experienced psychosis, those affected by racial trauma, and people struggling with thoughts of suicide.
I’m a trainee member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), continuing my formation at CFAR. I also hold a BA in Film from the London College of Communication and an MA in Psychosocial Studies from Birkbeck, University of London.
I offer psychotherapy in English and Italian, operating on a sliding scale based on personal and financial circumstances. I abide by the code of ethics of both UKCP and CFAR.
